I’m not dead

Anyways, I am alive. Its been a super busy kind of week. I was sick last week, and then I was busy all weekend. Its amazing that I actually have some what of a social life! Im taking it easy this weekend becuase I am exhausted.

I went out and had dinner and drinks with a friend last night and then when I came home I was so exhausted, I went to take a nap at like 730 pm. Yea I slept until 8 am this morning. lol. I told you its been a long week.

Otherwise, not much else going on. I think my Halloween costume came in yesterday, so Ive gotta go pick that up. Im excited. Its a really sexy-but not trashy-pirate costume. So Im gonna be a “Dirty Pirate Hooker” hahahaha. (Side note-Ive found that only my generation and below understand this. My older friends, not so much. haha) Anyways, heres a pic of it from the website. Ill def take pics when Im in it.

Well I better go. I have a lot of shows to catch up with on tivo. I love taking it easy!

Im sick.

Stupid cold that is going around. Ive been battling it the past 3-4 days. I hate being sick.

Nothing else really going on otherwise. Its been a long work week. Issues with the dogs (theyre ok). And trying to have a social life, even though Im broke.

Anyways, just wanted to post since it had been a while!

Labor Day Weekend

My Labor Day weekend has been great so far! Friday night I went to the RHS football game and dinner with some friends. Saturday I painted my bedroom a light aqua blue (its beautiful!). I had woken up in a bad mood because of bad dreams I had had, so I decided to be productive. Called up my girl T, and we painted for like 5 hours! It looks amazing. I have one little tiny part to do, because we were just done at that point. lol Then I went and hung out at a friends house with a group of people. And my friend A, whom I havent seen in 8 years, was in town, so she came too. It was amazing to see her. We had so much fun!
Today my mom came over and we tried to fix my tivo, and got mad at my old tv i got from my Dad. So, we went out to all the tv stores, and finally found a nice sized flat screen. Of course we ran into like 3 or 4 people we knew while we were out. Then we came back and tried to fix my tivo (I am getting cable on the tv, and tivo, but cant record bc my internet is being funny and then half the channels wont show up!) and I made my mom glutton-free cookies.

Tonight I’m heading out to dinner with some friends, then out to another friend’s house for a get together. Tomorrow? Im thinking Im gonna have to call the internet ppl and the tivo people and fix that fucking thing (unless someone in the area knows how to do that? lol). But its been a pleasant labor day weekend. The weather has been BEAUTIFUL! Perfect, breeze, no humidity. I love days like this.

Well I gotta go get dressed for dinner, so I hope everyone’s labor day weekends are going as great as mine! Ciao for ow!
