Darren Hayes

is like my all time favorite singer. He is just one of those atists that I could listen to over and over and over and love every note more every time.  He is also UK based, and never comes to the states, except for like NYC in the middle of the week.

Well he is coming to Washington DC next Wednesday for a  special taping of an XM radio session. He is having a contest on myspace. The first 20 people to add the contest profile get to be a part of his audience (plus a guest!) GUESS WHO WAS #7?!??!

I AM GOING TO SEE DARREN HAYES PREFORM IN WASHINGTON NEXT WEEK!

I can’t stand myself! hahahaha. OMG i really never thought I’d see him perform again. And his new cd….oh I am seriously beside myself! Well I have to run!! I’ll keep you updated!!

Better

So i had the flu for a week. Yea sucked ASS!

I went to work Monday with a fever. Came home 2 hours later and literally slept all day. Had a fever almost all week. Then the throwing up and the what not proceeded. Haven’t really been able to eat anything all week, so Ive lost like 10 lbs! lol. I am still really weak, on acount of not haven eaten and all. So tomorrow, when I go back to work, things should be interesting. Ive spent the past few days at my Mom’s house being taken care of like I was 12 again. It was nice. Especially after being so used to taking care of my self all the time.

Well, she rented ghost whisper season 1 for me, so Im gonna go curl up on the couch and watch it. Back to work tomorrow!

What a weekend

11 November 2007 · Leave a Comment

The title says it all.

First of all I need to say to the SL world-rest in peace Ginny. You will be missed by all.

Now this has been a eventful weekend. First of all I spent a wonderful time with the boy and he really proved how wonderful he is. (Blog to come). Then while we were hanging out yesterday, my long lost Grandmother-to whom I haven’t spoken to in 10 years (family reasons) tracked me down and called me. This woman is just my grandmother by blood (my moms mom). I have never had a real relationship with her because of the damage and pain she had afflicted on to my mother. That has always been my choice (to not know her). Really, why would I want a relationship with the one person who caused my mother (one of the people i love most in this world) the most pain and suffering? Why would i do that in good mind?

So after the inital shock of receiving her phone call, and of course filling my mom in, i called her back and let her have it. Saying what i said above, as well as explaining to her why i don’t want a relationship with her and how this has always been my choice. My parents never took her away from me, they always gave us the option. I told her that both me and my brother want nothing to do with her and she needs to stop tracking us down. She even got snippy with me. I was very amused actually.

Then today I learned about the death of a SL great-Ginny Talamasca. I had no idea anything had happened to him. He will be mourned.

So now, im gonna go veg in my own thoughts. I hope everyone else had a great weekend.

Virtual CSI: NY

4 November 2007 · Leave a Comment

So I just watched CSI:NY from last week (im so behiend on Tivo!) and it dealt with a game I play online called “Second Life“(Im Ella Sartre in game). It actually had a real life murder take place from the game. Showed in world scenes (some of which were impossible) and I recognized some of the places (Like Simon’s shop, and I swear I think the main Avi was wearing ETD hair!)

All in all, it was very cool to see that the game was used in a network tv show. My geekiness is happy :-)
